Application of Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) to Improve Precision and Certainty on Safety Conformity Evaluation in a Bottling Plant

With the bottling plant facing safety impacts, commitment toward zero levels of accidents needs to be evaluated. However, perception and measurement conformity by manager that is subjected imprecision uncertainty are hardly evaluated correctly with present dominant approach using crisp numeric values. This article presents a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) reduce in multicriteria decision-making results. The method establishes selects best factors alignment different criteria within segments Nigerian plant. synthetic extent concerning each alternative, degree possibility, prioritizing weights, choice criterion were judged based on maximum weight FAHP evaluation process. average was used distinguish from worst units segment. results reveal weights as 0.4937 for haulage drillers (warehouse), 0.3038 palletizers (manufacturing corridor), 0.3333 syrup mixers/lab technicians quality assurance, no parameter fleet workshop. highest contractors 0.3201, which contractor 1.
